1-on-1 Strength Training Sessions
Private sessions tailored specifically to individual client goals, integrating a variety of formats (i.e. resistance training, cardio/HIIT, stability/balance, mobility/flexibility, Pilates). These sessions allow for focused trainer feedback, as my eyes are always on you, monitoring alignment, endurance, and application. In essence, 1-on-1 sessions provide you will all of the "Julia" insights, hacks, and analogies, directly in line with your body's limitations and overall fitness level/experience.
Session length options: 60 min, 45 min, 30 min
Duet Training Sessions
A "duet" approach to training, these partner sessions feature the same 1-on-1 session structure with divided attention amongst two movers. Bringing together friends, co-workers, and/or family members with a similar understanding of exercise, duo sessions provide a sociable, fun component to fitness while still maintaining the highly personalized critique (not to mention encouragement) of the trainer.
Session lengths options: 60 min, 45 min, 30 min
Small Group Training Sessions
Not a private session but not quite a class, small group training brings together 3-4 individuals of similar fitness levels to cultivate a supportive exercise environment, with personalized feedback geared toward each client.
A great opportunity to workout with friends, with more attention than a group fitness class but less pressure than a 1-on-1 session!

General At-Home Programming
COMING SOON - Pre-written and recorded workouts available via the Trainerize app which target full-body conditioning through the inclusion of training for strength, endurance, stability, mobility, balance, power, and flexibility. These programs remain the same no matter who purchases them and span THREE months. As such, if you purchase one month, you are locked in for a full 90 days. Again, consistent training will harbor greater and faster results than once-weekly sessions and/or spotty group fitness classes. To simplify and streamline things, the Trainerize app is free and accessible on all devices.
Classical Pilates Privates
Exploring how the "Powerhouse" facilitates all movement across the body, Classical Pilates sessions feature work on the multitude of apparatuses developed by Joseph Pilates. Private offerings include the integration of reformer, mat, Cadillac, and small barrel, amongst other equipment. With focused concentration on the abdominals, and understanding how the center controls everything, Classical Pilates builds strength, stability, flexibility, and stamina. All sessions take place at Making Moves' home fitness studio (Oneida, NY).
Session length: 60 minutes
1-on-1 Fusion Model
A highly comprehensive training approach, the Making Moves signature "Fusion" Model combines both traditional strength training and Classical Pilates. Making Moves seamlessly marries the length, alignment, and Powerhouse-focused work of Pilates with the endurance and muscular hypertrophy of conventional training methods... all with insights into body mechanics and kinesthetic “hacks” from 20+ years of ballet training.
The Fusion Model provides movers with the ability to pair heavy free weights and interval training alongside the low-impact, spring-resistive practice of Classical Pilates. Together, these two methodologies pave the most encompassed path toward greater stability, stamina, strength, and mobility while also increasing bone density and ensuring both physical and mental longevity across the lifespan.
Personal training session length options: 45 - 60 min

Custom Monthly Programming
Monthly programming options marry together both in-person and/or virtual private training sessions with workouts performed on your own time at home or the gym/studio. As these programs are created specifically for you and reflect the areas of focus discussed in the initial consultation, they will yield the greatest level(s) of benefit and success. Adherence to your personally crafted program is vital - once preliminary goals are established, we will track and re-evaluate intentions, expectations, and potential barriers to success throughout your training period, to ensure that we remain on task in pursuit of your healthiest self.
Can include nutrition coaching as an add-on.
Commitment options: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months
Pricing is dependent upon number of weekly sessions and/or integration of nutrition coaching.
